What is Google Ads management?
Google Ads management is monthly professional optimization of advertising campaigns after launch. Setup is one-time work to launch; management is the continuous process of improving results.
Google Ads does not work on a "set and forget" principle. The competitive environment, user behavior and Google’s algorithms change daily. A campaign that delivered great ROI last week can go negative in a month without active management.
What professional Google Ads management includes: daily bid and budget optimization, A/B tests of ad copy (minimum one experiment per week), search terms analysis and negative keyword updates, ad scheduling, audience expansion, Quality Score monitoring and improvement, bid strategy adjustments (Manual CPC, Target CPA, Maximize Conversions), competitor analysis, monthly KPI reports with recommendations, and a strategic call 30–45 minutes once a month.
Without active Google Ads management, even a perfectly set up campaign loses 20–40% of effectiveness in 2–3 months. With our management — the opposite, the campaign improves month over month.
Google Ads management is not "maintenance" — it is active work on your ROI.
How is management different from setup?
Two different services with different deliverables. Both are needed for a campaign that actually works long-term.
Google Ads Setup
One-time launch — keyword research, structure, ads, conversion tracking.
- Campaign structure build
- Initial keyword research
- Technical setup (GA4, GTM)
- First ad copy
- First-month monitoring
Google Ads Management
Continuous optimization after launch — bids, A/B tests, reports.
- Continuous daily optimization
- Adding new keywords and removing outdated ones
- Weekly A/B tests on ad copy
- Dynamic budget allocation across campaigns
- Monthly report and strategy call
- Reacting to market and competitor changes
What is included in management?
Eight concrete work streams that run every month — not vague promises, measurable deliverables.
-
Daily bid optimization
Adjusting bids based on performance data. Margin on each keyword is recalculated daily — high-value keywords get more budget, weak ones fade out.
-
A/B tests on ad copy
Minimum one new experiment per week. We test headlines, descriptions and CTAs — winners are picked by statistics and scaled across ad groups.
-
Negative keywords
Daily review of search terms. Irrelevant queries are added to negative lists. Budget is protected from spend on non-converting traffic.
-
Bid strategies
Switching between Manual CPC, Target CPA and Maximize Conversions based on data and goals. Each strategy unlocks different gains at different campaign maturity.
-
Audience optimization
Expanding performing audiences and excluding non-productive ones. Ongoing build-out of remarketing lists for future campaigns.
-
Quality Score
Monitoring Quality Score on every keyword. When it drops, we analyze and fix landing page, ad relevance and CTR. Higher QS means lower CPC at the same position.
-
Performance monitoring
Daily monitoring of key metrics: CPC, CTR, conversions, CPA, ROAS. Anomalies are caught in hours, not days.
-
Competitor analysis
Quarterly deep dive: what competitors do, how they changed their ads, which new opportunities appeared on the market.
-
Monthly report
Full report with KPIs: impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, CPA, ROAS, top performers and recommendations. Comparison vs previous month and same month last year.
-
Strategic call
30–45 minutes per month. We discuss results, plan the next month, answer questions. Phone or Google Meet — whichever you prefer.
Who needs Google Ads management?
Four typical situations where ongoing management clearly pays for itself.
- 01
Right after professional setup
The natural next step after Google Ads setup. Without active management, the first 8–12 weeks the campaign does not reach optimum. Google AI needs data, and accumulating it correctly is the monthly work.
- 02
If campaigns lose effectiveness
It used to work, now CPA is rising and conversions are falling. You need a fresh look plus systematic optimization. Often the problem is not one big thing, but accumulated small inefficiencies that kill ROI together.
- 03
With large monthly budgets
Budget €1000+/month — the cost of NOT managing exceeds the cost of management itself. ROI turns positive in the first month: 5% efficiency gain on €1000 = €50/month saved, or the equivalent in sales growth.
- 04
For e-commerce with 100+ products
Stores with large product catalogs require daily work — feed updates, Shopping campaigns, Performance Max optimization. Without active Google Ads management, big catalogs quickly turn into unmanageable chaos.
What our management process looks like
Five phases — from handover to quarterly strategic review.
- Week 1–2
Account handover
We receive access via MCC — your account stays in your ownership. Full audit of current state, documenting existing setup, identifying quick wins we can apply right away.
- First month
Active optimization
Deep work on bids, search terms and audiences. Laying the foundation for long-term growth. Often we see 15–30% efficiency gain in the first month — more conversions on the same budget.
- Month 2–3
Regular optimization
Daily work: bids, negatives, A/B tests. Weekly experiments, monthly reviews. Testing bid strategies, expanding keywords, optimizing landing pages.
- Month 4+
Scaling
Working strategies get scaled. Budget flows between campaigns automatically — where the sales appear, money follows. Growth in sync with your business, season and competitive pressure.
What you get each month

Frequently asked questions
How is Google Ads management different from setup?
Setup is one-time work to launch a campaign (keyword research, structure, ads, tracking). Management is monthly optimization after launch. Without management, even perfect setup loses 20–40% effectiveness in 2–3 months. Full info on the Google Ads setup page.
What is the minimum management duration?
3 months. Minimum for statistics accumulation and data-driven optimization. After 3 months — monthly renewal, cancellable any time with 1 month notice.
What is included in the monthly report?
Full report with KPIs: impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, CPA, ROAS, budget breakdown, top performing keywords and ads, recommendations for next month. Plus a 30–45 minute call with the strategist.
Who works on my account?
A dedicated specialist (single contact). For the Premium plan — specialist plus technical lead. During vacations and sick days a backup from the team steps in, so account access never breaks.
Does the management price change if my budget grows?
No, the plan price is fixed (€390 / €590 / €890 per month). When your budget grows, your ROI grows — our work stays at the same price. You only switch to a larger plan when you need additional services (Performance Max, Shopping setup, etc.).
Do you run A/B tests automatically or with approval?
Small tests (ad copy and headline variations) we run ourselves — this is part of standard optimization. Large tests (new campaign structure, new bid strategy) we approve with you before launch.
What if I want to stop management?
1 month notice. All account materials (documentation, reports, accesses) are handed over in full. When we work in your existing account, it stays with you — we just remove our MCC access.
